Things that have been said to me over the past few years and I hear more and more on the news.
You can believe in Jesus but do not go overboard.
You are free to worship but don’t share your religious views publically.
Religion is not the issue; it is the people who make religion the central part of their lives.
There is more to life than your religion.
You cannot say Jesus is the only way of salvation publically—it offends people.
Reverend, I don’t think you will make heaven: You are going to overshoot it.
I am not coming to your open house, because people may think I support you.
Reverend, I don’t care what you believe, just keep it in church.
You have to separate your religion from your politics.
I’ll be glad when all of you old white Evangelical guys die!
Those who know me, know I am not a Bible thumper. Not an in your face antagonist.
I try to be kind and show love to others, though I often fail.
I put Jesus first in my life, but I often fail Him.
I believe the Bible and so I believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation.
I believe in traditional marriage of a man and a woman.
I believe that allowing children to choose their gender and medically intervene is child abuse.
I am pro-life but understand there may be exceptions.
I believe that all people of the past, present, and future will spend eternity in heaven or hell.
I believe the local church is the hope of the world.
I believe Jesus will physically return to this earth one day at the consummation of this age.
