- The woke culture, gender confusion, and cancel culture will spur the creation of many more private schools and a more consistent and demonstrative cry for tax credits for those who choose private schools.
- The push to get more EV and hybrid cars on the road will overwhelm the fragile electrical grid.
- The nation will lose its energy independence.
- Gas prices will continue to increase.
- Inflation will increase at a faster pace.
- Millions of electric and hybrid cars will be purchased without considering the disposal of the highly hazardous batteries.
- The many batteries that power EV and Hybrid cars are hazardous waste and can even explode if not handled properly.
- Hybrid cars that use stored electrical energy and gasoline are a far more practical transition. I have driven a Prius since 2012.
- Until we have electric charging stations that can charge an EV in 3 minutes, it will be a mess.
- Where is the electricity coming from to charge the cars? Over 60% of our energy in America is generated by fossil fuels, over 19% renewables, over 19% nuclear. Just a tiny amount of energy is currently produced by wind or solar. Both wind and solar have their unique issues. Regardless of where and how it is generated, the grid needs updating. (US Energy Information Administration, US utility-scale electricity generation by source, amount, and share of total in 2020)
- Morality will continue to be defined and categorized as rights, and therefore, moral arguments will not be given much credence. It is how some can conclude that to abort a full-term baby is okay—It is not immoral; it is a right. When I heard the Governor of Virginia explain this, I was not only shocked, I feared for our nation.
- The Church will have to become more vocal in her mission to share the Gospel of Christ with compassion and urgency. Not attacking others but with compassion pointing others to Christ.
- The local church, preaching the Gospel—Jesus died for our sins, rose again on the third day, is the only way of salvation, and will one day return to this earth will usher in renewal in areas of our nation and the world.
We indeed see through a glass darkly, yet God calls on us to know the times and be as the men from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do, I Chronicles 12:32.
