The Priority is Gas Stoves?—What Americans Truly Fear.

January 21,2023

  • Drug overdose deaths have doubled in the United States since 2015, with over 107,000 deaths in 2020.  It is believed that fentanyl, which is flooding across the border, is a primary contributor to the deaths.
  • Tanks will likely be sent to Ukraine in a war no one can win. We hear little of diplomacy.  We’ve had a proxy war with China in Vietnam, a war in Iraq, and the longest war in US history in Afghanistan.
  • Crime in America’s great cities is increasing as politicians continue to do more for criminals than they do for victims.
  • Inflation, though slowing, has been at a 40-year high.
  • Two (one close enough) octogenarians are preparing to run for President.
  • It seems most politicians don’t communicate to understand; they communicate and investigate to destroy.
  • America is becoming more and more tribal and polarized.
  • Consider the top 10 fears of Americans in 2022 as researched by Chapman University,

Top 10 Fears of 2022% of Very Afraid or Afraid

  1. Corrupt government officials 62.12%
  2.  People I love becoming seriously ill 60.23%
  3. Russia using nuclear weapons 59.64%
  4. People I love dying 58.15%
  5. The U.S. becoming involved in another world war 56.06%
  6. Pollution of drinking water 54.57%
  7. Not having enough money for the future 53.78%
  8.  Economic/financial collapse 53.79 %
  9.  Pollution of oceans, rivers, and lakes 52.510%
  10.  Biological warfare 51.5% *

Gas stoves in homes were not even in the minds of Americans. You know what is number one in Americans’ fears–Corrupt government officials.  Fracking may be a concern, but the fracked ideas of some politicians are the real things to fear.
