Those who worked with me at the Illinois District Office can vouch that this is a true story, though hard to believe. 🙂
I was at my desk and got a frantic call from Debbie. A mouse had invaded the house. We had put the old type spring loaded mouse trap out but this mouse was running wild.
I said I will come home and take care of it. We lived on the camp grounds where our office was located. I rushed home and the mouse was dead. Dead as a door knob. Nipped in the bud. An X on both eyes. You get the picture.
Debbie explained that she killed it by throwing the mouse trap at the mouse. It did the job!
It is said that using the right tool for the right purpose in the right way gets the job done. I say in an expert’s hands the tool can be used any way one chooses.
Debbie wanted me to add this: It was self defense, the mouse was coming toward her, running right at her, she threw the trap and ran. One dead mouse. 🙂
